It was a lovely drive back from Taos to Santa Fe. The scenery was intriguing, the company was comfortable, we'd had a good meal at Doc Martin's and were heading back to a good dinner with friends. Yes, all we did was eat. And look at jewelry and art; and listen to opera. Not a bad vacation at all.
The room at the Inn of the Anasazi was very posh and invited lazing about, but we did haul our sorry carcasses out daily and do the sights. The Sunset Lemon Drop drinks out on the patio every afternoon were also just to my taste. And now it's all work again... until the next holiday.
